4 crew members. 3 weeks off the grid. 1 high-stakes mission.
It'll be our job to acquire a list of uniquely important supplies and deliver them to places you can't find on a map. Apply below to test your limits, make an impact, and be a part of some stories that people back at work won't quite comprehend.
You're on the list!
The next step is to fill out this 5-10 minute survey here: https://forms.gle/thuUARq2Lx97V9EBA We also sent you the survey link to your email address. If you don't see an email in 3 minutes, please check your spam folder.

Do you feel like you're just killing time?
Work might be okay. Relationships could be strong. But is something missing?
Even if you've managed to tick off a bunch of boxes on life's usual checklist-of-things-you-should-be-doing, do you still feel like like you're just drifting about?
Do you find too much of your purpose in arbitrary work deadlines or a smattering of personal obligations? Do you feel like you're going through the motions? Sleepwalking? Killing time?
We feel you. We've been stuck in the doldrums of life too many times to count.
Give your soul a massive jolt by joining us on a Supply Run
The unique way we've discovered that puts the wind back in our sails is to embark on global excursions that put us through physical, mental, and emotional challenges - while simultaneously serving others.
These trips provide the unexpected shock to the system we need to break out of our uninspired routines and redundant habits back home. They force us to stay in the moment and focused on the task, culture, and communities at hand.
And now, we need one more person to complete our team of four.
And we hope that fourth member can be you.
Interested? Here is what you should know before applying
In brief, this excursion is NOT a tour. It will be difficult. Shit will hit the fan. You will be uncomfortable at moments.
This is the whole point.
Deep growth, unique stories, and strong bonds aren't created through trips where all the decisions are made by somebody else so that you never have to experience any real adversity. This trip - in contrast - will be front-line, direct-contact travel.
Finally, the crew will be comprised of:
Jake
Chad
(Possibly you)
Dave - the cameraman who will film the entire mission so we can share the experience and lessons learned with the world
The details for Supply Run - Spring 2023
About the excursion
It will take place this upcoming Spring (primarily in April)
It will take place over about 3 weeks
It will take place in Southeast Asia
The general framework for Supply Run excursions is this: We will have a list of unique items we must first figure out how to acquire, and then second, figure out how to deliver to a remote location (either to a family, village, or multiple communities)
There will be a dedicated cameraman with us (his name is Dave and he’s awesome) who will film the entire thing
What your expectations should be
Expect it to be difficult
Expect to be physically, mentally, and emotionally uncomfortable at times
Expect zero guarantees that we will be successful in our mission (this is real!)
Expect plans to be thrown out the window
Expect shit to hit the fan
Expect that there could be dangerous moments
Expect to sign a waiver stating you understand the above expectations
Expect that the stories and experiences that could come from the trip are all heavily based on the above expectations (or lack thereof). Real adventures don’t have guaranteed positive outcomes - again, this is not a tour!
About you
You've never gone on an adventurous trip like this before. Any trips you've taken abroad, if any, have been vacation or tourism-based trips only.
You're looking for a pattern-interrupt to your current day-to-day life
You accept that this trip will not be a comfy tour-like experience
You're a team player
What will be required of you
Time: You will need to take off of work and all other responsibilities for about 21 days in April-May of 2023
Age: You need to be older than 25
Openness:You need to be comfortable being interviewed frequently and sharing your thoughts and emotions on camera (ultimately, this is show)
Team: You will be a part of our small crew and will have some responsibilities before and throughout the trip - this is very much not a tour. It is an adventure with an unknown outcome. We will be a team of decision-makers and problem-solvers.
Money: You will need to get your flight there and back (estimated $1,000 - $2,000 RT, but we can help you figure the cheapest flight or even less if you use points) and bring your own basic travel/adventure supplies (TBD), but we will take care of the day-to-day basics during the trip (i.e. we will pay for necessary food, shelter, materials, the supplies we acquire, etc.).
Selection process
This is the first time we’re trying to find our fourth member via an application process, so this a beta run of the process! Nonetheless, we plan for it to go as follows:
In 2019, we ran a beta test excursion (we called it Moto Run) of what we've now adjusted and reformatted as Supply Run.
We bought and rode motorcycles from Mongolia to Russia to Kazakhstan, but didn't really have a strong mission or goal the entire trip. On our final 2-3 days, we were able to find two remote families to whom we gave our motorcycles as a gift. This last, unplanned event is what helped us develop what is now Supply Run.
While you can watch the whole 10-episode series here, the final episode is the closest example of what we'll aim for with every upcoming Supply Run we complete.
